My Photography Journey

After spending my early 20’s disconnected from myself, unknowing of who I was and what excited me I made a bold decision to buy a van just before lockdown in 2020, with the ambition to convert it and go on on a big European adventure as soon as Covid was over.

Once the conversion was completed, I bought a camera and began to experiment with photography on my warm-up adventures around the UK.

Then in early 2021, I embarked on what would become a transformative journey across Europe. It was here amidst the rugged limestone peaks of the Alps where my passion for photography and the outdoors was truly ignited.

During a moment of clarity in the mountains of Europe, I decided to uproot my life and move to North Wales upon my arrival home, with the intention to spend as much time as possible following my passions.

Exploring the landscapes of Eryri, I focused most of my creative energy, going on long hikes and chasing sunsets finding endless compositions and inspiration amongst the mountains.

Here I fell in love with Eryri, and would spend my evenings researching new hiking routes and vantages to take photos from.

Through a subsequent travel abroad to Thailand and Vietnam, my photography has evolved into a medium for storytelling, capturing not just grand vistas but also the intricate details of nature's tapestry. This journey has deepened my appreciation for the beauty all around us and made me see Wales’ nature in a new light.

For me, photography has become my tool for introspection and healing, allowing me to find solace and clarity amidst nature in my attempt to capture this feeling in my photos. I believe deeply in the transformative impact of connecting with nature, not only for our own well-being but also for the future of our communities and planet.
