9th Jan // Lenticular Clouds and Sunsets

Rhinog Fawr // N52.851 W-3.994

There's something in me that always gravitates towards mountain sunsets and if Im brave enough, sunrises.

This is why I do it though, for the chance of something spectacular, and in this case as I sat at "feels like" -15°c huddled and sheltered from the wind behind a stack of rocks, this rare formation of clouds put on a show.

The things I do for a photograph..!

After the failed hike in the morning, I followed the weather along Barmouth to Rhobell Fawr to face more blistering cold for the sunset.
