24th January // Alport Castles

The Peak District // N53.419 W-1.789

Braving 60mph winds in the night tucked away in a corner of the peak district, I was determined to wake up early and visit Alport Castles before I had to leave the area to return home later that day.

In the valley all seemed calm until I reached the summit of the hill. The wind was so intense it was a struggle to stand upright at all, and bitterly chilling.

All worth it for that one shot.
