Though halted this summer, my pursuit of hiking new mountain routes is back on, and I couldn't have asked for a better adventure than this.
This hike ticked all the boxes, feeling wild and rugged I only encountered 1 other person as I followed barely trodden paths which wound around the rocky nulls and boggy plateaus, at some points questioning my route, "was that scramble up a steep bank of heather really necessary?" but nevertheless I came out the other side feeling inspired and invigorated, and I hope this comes through in my photography.
I cant explain how good it felt to do proper adventure photography again after months of injury and not being able to do anything off the beaten path.
Already feeling chuffed to the brim after a successful day out hiking - the first proper adventure since I sprained both my ankles - nature had one more treat in store for me on my drive home. And I just so happened to be in the right spot for it too.
