Sundews, a carnivorous plant found near bogs
Another grey day means only one thing. More reconnaissance.
This time I was revisiting a site I had been to a month prior, this time with the hope that by hiking directly up the Llanberis path, I would save some energy and be able to dedicate more time looking for Arctic Alpines.
Although I spent far more time leaving the footpath to scour the cliff edges, especially with some new information under my belt from my research, it seemed as though the flowering season for a lot of these flowers which Id seen in abundance in my previous endeavour had ended.

Two types of clubmoss
Despite this, it is always so much fun with my macro lens, especially when Iām encountering interesting textures and colours, which were on display on the damp ledges and cliff sides.
