7th March // Splendid Views

Crimpiau // N53.119 W-3.896

With my van out of action, this was a small outing with a lovely forecast of sunshine to one of my favourite secluded spots in Snowdonia - Crimpiau.

We actually ended up going an extended walk down to Llyn Crafnant, which is criminally under visited, mainly due to the only road coming in is from the Conwy Valley, and one really tucked away at that.

It wasn’t until later in the walk that the harsh sunlight had dimmed and Moel Siabod was just just in view through the haze. I really enjoyed capturing the intersection between mountains, forest and farmland.

Then to watch the sunset, we headed to Dinas Dinlle and meandered along the beach as I played guitar until the sun finally set.
