24th March // Days Like This

Llyn Gwynant // N53.0488 W-4.0257

Just our luck that on my last day of my friends visit to North Wales, the weather was incredible sunshine. So the makeshift plan was to explore Llyn Gwynant and walk up towards the Watkin path up snowdon to got for a swim in the pools.

Since the recent storms, the already barely walked path became even harder to navigate with the fallen trees. Luckily a lot had been felled and chopped down but we had to weave in and out of the branches down a steep path, until we got to the waters edge and went for a swim.

After coming across a lizard we continued onwards to wards the Watkin path but decided to stop just at the bridge as the water was the most inviting shade of blue. So we went for a second dip, where I got slightly addicted to the endorphin rush of jumping in. I kept doing this until my knees went blue and we decided it was time to head back and call it for the day.
