Well that was something special. Feeling lucky as ever to have witnessed this incredible event and enjoyed it even more seeing the crowds of people who also came out for this!

Photos are taken with a long exposure of between 30 seconds and 2 minutes to capture as much light as possible, so these photos capture the northern lights more intense than with the naked eye.

But the streaks of red and green were undeniable!
